ASPANDEM organization is dedicated to the attention of people with disability. Aspandem apart from offering a quality day center and residence also have various occupational centers offering workshops and professional formation for example in Nueva Andalucía there is a beautiful Garden Center and in San Pedro Alcántara a launderette.
Last month my son and I had the great pleasure and honor to attend a four session workshop at the ASPANDEM Charibel Occupational Carpentry Center, Carretera de Ronda, Fuente del Espanto, covering basic techniques in working with wood. It was a wonderful experience not only to brush up on my rusty carpentry skills but to get to know some of the dedicated team, Juan Pedro, Danny and David to name just a few.
Impressive is a good word to describe the quality of work that is produced at the center. Each item is thoroughly checked and the staff and workers are very proud of the high standard of the finished product.
