The beach in San Pedro, Marbella, has two ramps offering access for wheelchair users. These photographs were taken two weeks ago. The usual wooden decking leading down to the sea shore from the cement ramp has not yet been installed.

I will be keeping a keen eye on this zone and will update this blog as soon as I see any changes, otherwise the Town Hall will be notified. There is plenty of parking space right next to the beach.
Here is the link for the official website on beaches.

Hopefully they will finish the ramp. Looks like a beautiful beach!
It is a super beach, mind you there are better, meaning with easier entry into the water more soft sand so better for all.
I usually take my son to another beach approx. 20 minutes drive away there the sand is super. However for someone in a wheelchair it would be difficult because of extra barriers.
Slowly our community is changing but I believe there is so much more we can do to help on a grass roots level.
Great to hear your community is changing - pity it all just takes so long.
You're absolutely right regarding the time frame. We seem to take 8 steps forward and 7 back, just too slow for my liking. Also you need to coordinate your complaints to when there is an up and coming local election, then you get promised the world.
